Acerca de esta escucha
In this episode, I talk about the pervasive and often under-reported issue of Christian persecution. As an ex-Muslim turned Christian, this topic is deeply personal to me. I explore the spiritual, political, and cultural forces that fuel hostility against Christians today. I begin by sharing the tragic story of a bombing at a Greek Orthodox church in Damascus, Syria—a heartbreaking example of the ongoing violence believers face in the Middle East. Throughout the episode, I provide both historical context and current realities of persecution, highlighting the challenges Christians encounter in both the East and the West. I also talk about the biblical expectation of persecution, the drastic decline of Christian communities in conflict zones, and the role of global politics in shaping these outcomes. My goal is to call the global church to respond with compassion and clarity—through prayer, education, and tangible support. At the same time, I advocate for a balanced view that separates the actions of extremists from the broader Muslim population. I close by encouraging you to live out your faith with boldness and compassion, even when it’s costly.
