Amy stirred, moving her head so slightly I barely saw the motion from the corner of my eye, and then I saw something else. Startled out of my wits I could no longer pretend that nothing was happening as my head jerked round to look full at a vision that was something out of a nightmare! Like a congealing mist on the stairs behind Amy a huge figure was materialising, a figure I knew instinctively was The Guardian.
