Acerca de esta escucha

Mr. Schwill is a native of East Prussia and was born in Königsberg on 22, February, 1937. His exodus from his home took place prior to the end of World War II and he lived in his own country in Schleswig-Holstein as fugitive until 1950 when his parents moved to Tuttlingen, Baden-Württemberg, in southern Germany on account of the required workforce. Here he completed his education and started his carrier with the governments forestry department. At the age between 10-13 years he learned and enjoyed the world of sports in handball, soccer, track and field and obtained his life-guard certificate. At the age of 15, he constructed a full size model of a rocket, taller than he was for a school project with some help from his dad. His parents immigrated to Canada in September, 1955 and following his settlement in Toronto, Ontario, his talents extended in many different direction. He became a graphic artist and was a member of the project team which set up the Ontario Medical Services Insurance Plan-OMSIP in 1966 where he handled the graphics application. In the 70’s he transferred to the federal government and during his carrier there he implemented the open office landscape concept. He surveyed the federal occupied premises for handicapped accessibility and was later appointed as the federal identity program co-ordinator for Ontario, being responsible for the Government of Canada signage program until he retired in January, 1994. Mr. Schwill is also a sculpturer and during his life in Canada has enjoyed skiing, tennis and the curling sport. He is in the process of writing two books in the German language of which one is on health and the other on poetry, proverbs and humor. He made a documentary film for the northern radio and T.V. Station in Germany and he participated in the Canadian Flag and the Centennial design competition. He has designed a school and a curling pin and in 1990 the York University BBA Ring. Mr. Schwill also designed a full 120 acre theme-park which he presented to the township where he lived for more than 20 years. Mr. Schwill was baptised in Germany prior to his parents move to Canada. He is a believer in good health and has written this book in English, following his research on this subject. His biggest enjoyment, however, was in the graphic design field of the Canadian history wrapped and reflected in the Canadian flag. His artwork was framed and presented to the Prime Minister of Canada through his member of parliament.
