John has become the President of the new ISA and the remains of the Navy, Army and Marines join him in trying to defend themselves against a rogue US government which is still trying to destroy the Independent States of America and imprison its people. The old USA launches several devastating attacks and also tries to assassinate John. Having failed to destroy the ISA, the old USA launches a surprise attack that nearly destroys the ISA's military. John’s team fights for survival against very long odds, but John is a hard man for hard times. The series spans from 2020 to 2048.
