Drummer, photographer, artist and writer Dony Wynn discusses how creativity affects his work and personal life.
Born in Memphis, TN and raised in South Louisiana, Wynn began playing drums at age three and turned pro at age 13 (with a fake mustache). He spent decades playing with people such as Dr. John, Patti LaBelle, Robert Plant and most notably Robert Palmer...for 25 years!
Topics include; Gary Newman, Pat Mastelotto, Charles Bukowski, Captain Beefheart, The Wasp, The Spider, and how The Invisible Hands once told him to, "Quit your job, sell everything you have, pay off your debts and move to the middle of nowhere to live a life of poverty…and then write a novel."
Recorded June 2025 on Zoom between Palmdale, CA and Algood, TN.
