Zach Stone is a pediatrician in the Dallas area. He grew up in Louisiana (we’ll forgive him for that), but he is a Texan now. He graduated with honors in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M and attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston thereafter. He completed his residency training in pediatrics at UT Southwestern in Dallas and has had tremendous success in private practice. Despite a fulfilling early career after residency training, he made the unique and difficult decision to go back to school, and is now pursuing an MBA at SMU. He’s here to tell us all about this interesting educational pivot and why he thinks it’s a critical element to the future of his medical career.
