“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.”

This isn’t a warning… it’s a promise.

The King of kings is coming — not empty-handed — but with reward in His hands.

Jesus says "i am the Alpha and Omega… the Beginning and the End of all things."

The First and the Last: the One who was before time and will remain after time ends.

The Beginning and the End: That means our source and our destination — are all in His hands.

This is not just poetic—it’s personal. Jesus is reminding us that our entire lives are bookended by Him. There is no story outside of His authorship.

“Blessed are those who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

— Revelation 7:14.

This is symbolic of purification and righteousness through the blood of Jesus. Those who have surrendered to Christ and been cleansed by His grace are not only forgiven, but blessed—they have the right to the tree of life and entrance into the eternal city of God.

This passage reminds us that eternity is real, that Christ’s return is soon, and that there is a blessing for those who are found faithful.
