The New York Giants are officially heading back to Hard Knocks — this time in-season. Starting in December, the series will follow all NFC East teams and will air new episodes each Tuesday through the regular season. The Giants haven’t been featured in years, and fans will get an inside look at this team during one of the toughest schedules in the NFL.

Speaking of that brutal schedule, the Giants are only favored to win one game this entire season according to early odds — Week 5 vs. the Saints. That means 16 games where they are underdogs, and in 13 of those matchups, the opposing team is favored by three points or more. With such low expectations, NFL Network projects the Giants to win just 5.4 games in 2025. But could they surprise everyone?

PFF handed the Giants a B- for their offseason performance, noting a strong draft (A- grade) but missing out on big-name QB trades. Instead, they landed Jaxson Dart, and QB expert Jordan Palmer believes Giants fans should be excited about the pairing of Dart and Brian Daboll. Palmer praises Daboll’s teaching ability and says this might be the perfect environment for a young quarterback to thrive.

One of the more underappreciated stories? Bobby Okereke. Bleacher Report labeled him the Giants’ “best-kept secret,” pointing out his stellar production and versatility. Could this be the year he finally gets Pro Bowl recognition? Another name to watch is rookie CB O'Donnell Fortune, who PFF labeled a “rookie to watch” after earning one of the best coverage grades in college football.
In other league-wide news, the controversial "Tush Push" remains legal after the NFL decided not to ban it. Drew and Rob don’t hold back — calling the complaints “chicken” and challenging teams to stop whining and find a way to defend it.
