Acerca de esta escucha
In this episode of Grab Your Keys and Go, we are flipping the script on hustle and diving deep into something we all say we want but often resist: REST.
Why is it so hard to rest?
Especially as mothers, business owners, women who care deeply, why does stopping feel so unnatural?
We chat about the invisible pressures we carry to be “the good woman” Always thinking ahead, taking care of everyone else, being productive, holding it all together.
We talk about how these stories run deep, often leaving us hyper-vigilant, wired, and running on empty. Even when we want to slow down, our nervous system is like, “Um, no thanks, I’m busy making sure everyone’s okay.” Sound familiar?
There’s also this little thing called control. We unpack how our desire to keep things smooth (especially when it comes to the wellbeing of our kids or managing all the moving parts of life) makes it even harder to truly let go and rest. But the truth is, when we never pause, we miss the chance to refill our own tank.
This episode is a reminder that rest is not a reward. It’s a right. And it’s also one of the boldest ways we can say YES to ourselves.
So if you’re someone who says “I’ll rest when everything’s done” (spoiler: it never is), come sit with us. You’re not lazy. You’re human.
And if you are having trouble saying YES to that, then come and spend some time in the Breathing Room 'in person' or online with me, I'll show you how its done. xx
