Join me and my Army assistance team on a flight to Dubrovnik, Croatia as part of rescue and recovery operations for a member of the President’s cabinet. Learn how I met Second Lieutenant Lila Anne Priddy and witness our wedding ceremony at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Travel with Lila and I in Western, Central and Eastern Europe. Ski the Alps with us in Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy and Germany. Hit the beaches with us in Italy and Spain during our summer vacations. Drive with us across the Iron Curtain after the fall of the Berlin Wall. You never really know where life will take you. I had no idea where life would take me. But looking back over the last forty-six years, I can say now that life took me a whole lot of places that I would never have dreamed of.
