In today’s study we’re following along the life of Jacob where a course change is happening and he is being re-routed back to his hometown after 20 years of being away. Through the seasons of our lives, God always has a plan that He’s working out and sometimes we can actually sense when there’s a change coming. Jacob has acquired wives, had children, and while working for Laban, has become exceedingly prosperous. But the circumstances in his life had begun to change… He noticed extended family becoming critical and combative, and his father-in-law had now had a change of attitude towards him. God was getting Jacob’s attention and preparing him for the next season. Look around your life… Have you noticed things beginning to change?
