Acerca de esta escucha

‘Crime is a matter of opportunity.’

One of the more complex and darker Arsène Lupin novels, 813 sees Maurice Leblanc’s endearing criminal entangled in an intricate web of murder and espionage, in what is one of the most thrilling plots yet in the series.

Charming rogue, Arsène Lupin, returns once again, only to find himself as the suspect in a leading murder case. After one of his previous victims, the millionaire Kesselbach, is found dead in a Parisian hotel room, the gentleman thief is determined to prove his innocence. Set to uncover the real culprit, Lupin uncharacteristically joins the police’s efforts and delves into the mystery at hand. Powerful and dangerous enemies await, seemingly orchestrating crimes from the shadows, while a dark political conspiracy threatens to end Lupin’s life as he knows it… Thrilling at every turn, 813 proves itself to be a crime classic for the ages. This audiobook edition is brilliantly read by Rupert Degas.

Maurice Leblanc (1864 – 1941) was a French journalist, novelist and short story writer. He was primarily known for inventing the fictional thief Arsène Lupin, often considered the French counterpart to Sherlock Holmes.
