Acerca de esta escucha
We women are prone to feeling shame for things that aren’t our fault, we refuse to claim our power, we rarely take a pause for ourselves, we struggle with low self-worth and live in survival mode a lot of times.
That’s why when author Puja Shah’s team approached me for an interview about her new book, I instantly said yes. Puja Shah is an author, poet and mindfulness expert. Her book ‘For My Sister’ is about twin sisters Amla and Asya who go from living in a small village to moving to Mumbai to being sold in flesh trade.
Their only security is each other until they are separated. Though they each discover ways to cope through poetry, art, and romance, they long for the other half of themselves. This is a story of love, trust, self-worth and coming out stronger.
In this episode, I and author Puja Shah discuss her book while connecting it to the lives of women everywhere. It’s a deep conversation with lots of takeaways for our own growth and sisterhood.
You can help me bring more such conversations to you by following the podcast and by rating and reviewing us. I am grateful to you.
