All of his friends had partners, and all of them gay… which he had to laugh about. His love life was non-existent—he hadn’t dated any women for over two years, and hadn’t been laid in longer. Scooter especially missed spending time with his friends, Brian and Tony, who lived and worked at the ranch.

Brian Crenshaw and Anthony “Tony” Caprico worked at Rancho Lobos. Brian was a ranch hand and Tony was the assistant foreman… they’d also been lovers for eight years. They’d met Scooter the first weekend Ty and he were scheduled to begin their eight weeks of community service. Tony befriended him the first night, but it was Brian that surprised Scooter.
