Preston lifted his lashes hesitantly, looking up to see Ethan's face breaking in silent tears.

"I hate my body—I hate it! And I would do anything to escape this prison I've been locked in my whole life! That won't ever let me have what I want! Who I want! And I want you, Preston...I want you so f**king much it's hard to breathe. It's hard to stay human."
