Do you ever wonder about the homeless? Who are they? What happened that they ended up on the street? Does it help to give them money or are they going to spend it on drugs or alcohol? Is there a way to help them get off the street and stay off? Are you one of the many who avert your eyes because you don’t want to look at the tragedy of people who are barely surviving when you don’t know the answers or how you can help? You probably don’t want to wade thru the studies and statistics. Let’s face it. Most of them are boring and don’t really give much in the way of answers anyway. They frequently just document the problem. We want to take you beyond statistics so we are offering you a different way to look at the problem. We are giving you an engaging story of a man who suddenly becomes homeless. For a greater exploration of how to address homelessness in our own communities, we will be offering a course and we hope you will feel moved to use it and share it with your church or social justice group.Together, we can end homelessness.
