There was horrible pain in being crusified
Jesus was beaten and mocked, and nailed to a cross to die because the Jewish leaders were afraid that he would ruin what they had and what they controled. It was Gods plan that this would happen. Jesus died to pay the price for the sins of all men. Through all the pain and suffering, Jesus only showed love and forgiveness to the ones who were murdering him.
