There were stipulations to the inheritance. She had to live in her aunt’s house for a year. If she didn’t, she walked away with a small percentage of the estate. It would be easy. Wouldn’t it?

The old Victorian house was filled with secrets. As they begin to reveal themselves, Kat wonders if she ever really knew her aunt at all. Then the house begins to communicate through her journal, and a detective arrives at her door needing help to solve a murder.

Who really was her aunt? And, where does that leave Kat?
