NY Medical College and Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Valhalla, NY established an annual "Kazi Uzair Award" in his honor in 1989 which is granted to the best resident in pediatrics. The "Kazi Uzair Award" holds great prestige within the institution and is considered a coveted honor. Each year, a deserving resident is recognized and bestowed with this esteemed award, symbolizing their excellence in the field. This serves as a constant reminder of his impact and serves as a source of inspiration for current and future medical professionals.
