This was a decent story and the performance was really good. The graphic sex descriptions were totally unnecessary. I’m not adverse to normally reading those things however if I did want to read about that I would choose that type of novel. I will not continue reading the series because of it. At times it read like a porn novel

Keira’s father was an enforcer for the Irish mob until he turned informant for the FBI. Four years after Keira “died” under Archer’s protection while he was still in the Boston PD, they remeet in Wyoming. However, the Irish somehow found out that she is alive. This time Archer and Keira stopped denying the attraction between each other. Archer is a romantic suspense, second chance romance, bodyguard romance, mafia subplot romance. I love that the author used a real life event as a plot point in this book. The romance is fantastic and the suspense plot is really good.

This book is well written, and it’s more for the adult, mature readers, but Dr. Sharp definitely has a way with descriptions. I can’t wait to read the other three books in the series.

Great Plot!!

There was minimal FMC development and almost none for the MMC-one thing that struck me is how every time there was a strong breeze, the MMC would have an erectiom. FMC holding a carrot? Wood(not a real scene). The story had a lot of potential and hopefully the next book would be better.
There are also timeline inconsistencies. Sometimes things happened 4,7, or 8 years ago but none of it was easy to put together.
Anyway, that’s my $.02.

This story is romantic, sexy and easy to get lost in. I just found the author and she quickly became one of my favorites. The narration is wonderful and their voices just pull you in.

Narration was great, although the Irish accents could have been a bit better.
Plot-line was easy to follow and kept you guessing. Not too short and not too long either .

Highly recommend this book and the series. Only suggestion is tone down on the “c” word.

Book club book of the week

I was intrigued from the prologue. I actually enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the twist and turns and the found family dynamics.

This book did make me want to read the rest of the series .

Some like the over the top romance and sex scenes I was slightly annoyed by it. But it had a great story line and character development.

Overall I Loved it! A lot of romance but that’s the only downside.
