Acerca de esta escucha
Does watching your child lose their temper feel like looking into a mirror?
Your children look to you for everything; from lunch money and homework help, to impulse control and emotional regulation. You are the model by which they set their standards.
So, when it comes to anger management, are you demonstrating model behavior?
If the answer is "no", you’re not alone. Even parents need help learning how to control our emotional responses, especially when it comes to feeling frustrated with our offspring.
Anger Management for Parents provides you with the necessary tools to help you calm your reactive emotions and formulate a clear-headed response that will ensure your children grow up in a happy, healthy environment. Take a deep breath, and allow this audiobook to show you how to:
- Recognize the common causes of anger in parents, and the effects your temper has on the development of your children
- Make a plan for managing your anger by reflecting, identifying, and taking responsibility for your emotions
- Effectively respond to your child’s tantrums and understand the causes behind that behavior
- Reroute your impulsive anger into a more productive, active response by focusing on positive parenting
- Engage in social emotional learning that will have you and your child more in tune with each other’s feelings
Make your home a safer and more accepting place for the emotions of every member of your family. Show your child just how much you care with Anger Management for Parents!

Feelings are not meant to be pushed down or dismissed. Here’s how to make sure your kids know what to do with theirs: If you’re like most parents, one of your primary concerns about your child, aside from their health and safety, is how you can prepare them for adulthood. Qualities associated with emotional intelligence, are a greater predictor of future success than having a high IQ and are very often overlooked. Fortunately, emotional intelligence is something that can be taught and developed, and the ideal time to do it is while your kids are still young.

Highly recommend for any parent
I truly enjoyed this audiobook. It was well-written, explained concepts in easy to digest ways and provided clear explanations as to the “what, why, and how”. Because it covers very normal emotions that may sometimes feel abnormal for BOTH parents and kids alike (toddlers to teens), I think it is a book that is great for any parent, so I would recommend it even if you’re not personally struggling everyday with anger management. Well done!

get to positive parenting/happier kids ASAP!
This was a solid intro to dealing with anger in your parenting style. After a long day of work and stress there, as well as the paperwork of kids (sports signups, volunteer obligations etc) doctors appointments, etc sometimes the frustration and anger just bubblies over when that cute little one pushes your buttons one too many times. This book gave great practical advice on stopping that cycle cold turkey. Sure wish I had this years ago. I am more involved with my grandkids now and see some of the same issues creeping up in me and this book calms things down. Thanks for reminding me of what's really important and giving me techniques that help me enjoy my grandkids more (and relax my type A personality??!!). Highly recommend!
