Acerca de esta escucha

I can’t seem to choose between the two shifters who mean the world to me… but what if I can have them both?

Trying to navigate my feelings has never been easy. Growing up, I had to keep my emotions locked down and hidden from the world or suffer the consequences. But now, well, now I’ve had a taste of freedom, and with it, my heart has been running wild.

Between trying to find witches—members of the Red Cloth—at work and sifting through my overwhelming emotions, I’m a mess. And two certain shifters seem happy to help sort me out, which is great, but it’s making all these feelings hit me at once.

How in the world can I tell River and Kulani that I… that I like them? Both of them. At the same time. This is going to end in disaster with one, two, or three hearts broken. But what if it doesn’t? What if there’s a way for all three of us to get what we want?

An Embrace To Hearten Me is a MMX (male/male/nonbinary) urban fantasy romance companion novel meant to be listened to AFTER A Purpose That Restores Us (The Magi Accounts 3). This is Jude, Kulani, and River’s story and takes place between books 3 and 4 of the main series. It’s meant to be listened to as part of the series, not by itself, although the love story is resolved in this book.

Ok, right out the gate I have to say I love Zachary Zaba's narration voice for my fantasy romances. He just brings that certain element to the characters and the atmosphere and he does it for Jude, River and Kulani here! Their relationship was beautifully slow burn, and we really got to genuinely know all of them and how they felt about each other and fit together. Lots of continued world building and mystery going on too. I recommend as part of the series for the best enjoyment of all the characters.

Both of Them!

The dynamic of these three is awesome! I am glad it showed more of Kulani’s backstory! I am totally enamored of this whole series. This is in my top five of best paranormal series!

4.5 stars. I knew from the moment that our three step on page together several books back, that they would make a great trouple. So we have the continuation of the bombing at HQ. You can feel the frustration coming off the pages because they can't get the leads to hunt down the Red Cloth. My big issue was it took so long for these three to get on the same page with a relationship. There was way too much push/pull, should we/shouldn't we, from all three of them. Maybe if they would have gotten out of their own way much sooner, I would have like it more. Kulani's past broke my heart. Both the mages and shifters were treated like POS. Though the shifters have it a little bit better now, the mages still don't. I hope that when things finally end, but not for a very long time, the mages are free and neither have to wear tabs ever again

Great addition to this series
