I absolutely loved this book!!! One of the very best. Maybe I love an age gap romance, or Dad's best friend!! Whatever the reason, it was one of my very favorites truly. There were all the feels in this book! I went from happy, to sad, to scared, to really sad, the happy again. Again. so amazing!!! Ty LLV! And great job narrating!!

Lani has dont it yet again! And this is why she is one of my favorite authors. This story had me feeling all the emotions and even cried a little.. or more than a little! The way Lani writes these characters and intertwines other characters from other series is like no other. This is Haggard and Sophia’s story, and am not going into a huge explanation of the book. Use the credit, spend the money, you will not be disappointed.

Definitely listen/Read Coup de Grace in Code 11 Swat Series to get a tiny glimpse as to how the Madden family came about. I can tell you that I finished this listen 2 hours ago and I am still tearing up with the events in this book. LLV always gets me with these feelings. It’s worth a listen/read but be prepared to ugly cry!! There’s a twist that I wasn’t prepared for. Check it out if you love your bad boy biker and age gap love story.

I liked this story. From the previews I thought it would be much darker. It’s not. Yes he is an “outlaw biker”
But there’s not much on that in this story. Also, he’s the family oriented growly papa bear type of biker. He apparently hunts down human traffickers.
Heroine is his good friends daughter. He feels some guilt over “going there” but from the way the story is told, it’s rather inevitable.
There were some unexpected plot twists with heroines dad, didn’t see that coming. Also with her brother, didn’t see it coming and also not very plausible which is why it’s quickly explained and brushed off.
There is a great deal of sexual tension between these two. The zzzex scenes were really steamy- out of this world very well done. This story is really about these two compelling people, how they manage to become a couple and finding out more about their family. I particularly like Haggards family, both blood and biker. Looking forward for more, much more from Haggards families.
I enjoyed the female narrator, however I did struggle with her believability with male voices - sometimes it comes across the way I make fun of things my brother says when I’m repeating his words- other times she manages to pull off a decent male voice. The male narrator absolutely nailed the intimate scenes i applaud the decision to have him read them. I would put those on replay his voice is so yummy.

I want my own Haggard- send me one.

This book doesn’t disappoint. As the author writes more the more she see life in greater view and takes her characters to different levels in life. Great book.
