This is a story about family, friendship, love, loss, grief and forgiveness. It has it all. Althought it starts off a bit slow, the story is worth the wait. Each emotional twist and turn was skillfully performed by the narrator keeping me engaged in the story throughout. Beautiful listen!

Almost There captivates your attention with the multi-layered relationships that Maddie has with her spouse, children, and longtime friend, Leona. It brings moments of joy, happiness, and great sorrow…just like real life. Ms. Klein has a great writing style. The beautiful narration of Erika Calvert draws you into the story. Erika’s voice is full of warmth and wonderful to listen to.
