God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses thousands of years ago. If God wanted to give His commandments today, what would they say in this radically changed world since Moses' time? How would He give them to the world?

One night, I was very soundly asleep. Suddenly, I was awakened by a very loud voice speaking to me. Was it a dream? Usually, I don't even remember most of my dreams. However, when I woke up the next morning, I remembered everything that the voice had said word for word. What did the voice say to me?

I was commanded to share what was said to me with the world. I obeyed. That night, the voice told me to write a book with a modern Ten Commandments. He gave me four of the commandments that first night. I wrote down what He said to me but was in the middle of writing another book for a publisher. So, it sat for a while until the other book was finished. Once I had written the outline of the first four commandments that I had been commanded to share, I continued to gradually get the rest of the commandments one or two at a time. Sometimes it was while I was sleeping. Sometimes it was in the middle of a long drive. I was given the title of this book also.

Once I had outlined all of the chapters, I became the scribe for what you will read. It all came through me. But it did not come from me. All glory to God.

I hope that you find this book meaningful for you in some way. He told me to say that He hopes that you find meaning in this book too.

Just like with the original Ten Commandments, God endowed humans with free will. He says that you have the freedom to receive His word, or to choose not to receive it. Either way, He says that He hopes it plants a seed that germinates quickly, or over a long time.
