Campbell and Carter are back, in their toughest case yet.

With the clock ticking, Inspector Jess Campbell and Superintendent Ian Carter must join forces with the team of police at Bamford to piece together the puzzle before another innocent life is lost....

Great series to listen to on Audible. The characters and plots work well together. I regret to say that I do not care for Jilly Bond as the narrator. Her vocalization of the various characters is lacking and not performed well.
I have much preferred the books that are narrated by Judith Boyd. I hope as the series continues that Judith Boyd will be narrating again.

I have enjoyed these books in the past. The story is pretty good. I found the accents of the characters to similar in some cases so they were hard to distinguish between . I found this annoying and had to figure out who was who which was distracting. The last narrator did a better job.

I love this series, and I hope the rest end up being on Audible. The quirky villagers, the intricate murder mystery, and the dialogue and narration are wonderful.
