Southern fried romance in a very sweet sense with many Christian references, but some very steamy, sexy scenes!?! Despite the apparent conflict of intent here, it is nice story (if very slow building) with a HEA.

I absolutely love this series. It’s so much fun and sweet. Nate and Sunshine’s story was wonderful. I also love oops baby books. They are some of my faves. You can listen as a stand alone but I suggest you start with book one.

I’m a sucker for a southern man, and OMG, Nate was written to perfection. Nate and Sunshine loved one another as teens, but then her family moved and they lost touch. Now she’s back, and his heart still longs for her.
Their story brought a few tears to my eyes. Their longing for one another, and their struggle to admit that longing, had me cheering for a second chance. This is one series you will not be disappointed in.
The voice actors did a fantastic job. James Briar’s acting was superb. I found myself totally lost, living this story vividly in my mind as I listened to James and Eva.

It’s hard to say whether I’d have liked this more either with different narrators or the same ones in true duet.

Ultimately, it’s sweet yet completely predictable.
