My name is Sister Trixie Lavender, and I'm an occasionally possessed excommunicated nun. Okay, that's a lot to swallow at once. Of course, our bid to fit in would be a little less rocky if I could help Coop assimilate with humans, keep a lid on our sassy talking owl, Livingston...oh, and if someone hadn't killed our landlord on day one - in our shop.

This mystery-loving, bumbling ex-nun and her trusty demon sidekick are on the case! If I don't bumble my way right into my own demise first....

I really loved these books. I'm glad they were in the plus catalog or I would have never listened to them. I Don't usually get books unless they are 10 hours or more because it's not worth a credit to me. Audible needs to combine short books to 2 at least, they would sell a lot more. I'd love to listen to more of this author but again to short for a credit. I will watch for more of her books in the plus catalog or combined for a longer listen.

So the book was good but kept referencing past events. It was like this was the 2nd book in the series and not the first. I would like to have read/listen to the story of Trixie’s time at the convent; her first possession ; how she met Coop and Stevie and the first murder Coop was almost charged with. Other than that I liked it and will read book 2.

so far I have loved every book I've listened to by Dakota Cassidy,Hollis Jackson reads them so well.

Dakota Cassidy has crafted another original series. An ex-nun as the main character, only Dakota would dream this one into reality. If you enjoy paranormal mysteries, this one’s for you.

I liked the story and the characters. but was unhappy with the fact that there was no way to get the next book in the series. Is there any way of getting it?

it's rather interesting to read this in the current climate. I would recommend this semi light read.

The narrator was spectacular, with all her different voice for the characters. The story's ending was a surprise; you couldn't have guessed "who done it".
