Apples of Gold is a collection of twenty eight poems meant to inspire and uplift, and offer encouragement for Christians. It is written with the spirit to edify and perfect the faith of those who have been walking with God for a while and those who are new to the faith. In addition, I hope this poetry speaks to others who have not initiated a relationship with the Lord. Just as my first two books, Words Fitly Spoken and Words Fitly Spoken Book Two spoke of God’s mighty power, his faithfulness and his tender loving care for us, Apples of Gold continues along the same vein.

Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar (aka Shrii Shrii Anandamurti) is widely deemed to have been the preeminent spiritual master of the 20th Century. Among his many and varied achievements, he also gave 5018 songs, most of them in Bengali and all of them in the last eight years of his life. Before and After the Darkness is the companion volume to the collections Inside the Stretch of the Heart and The Dream of Stairs: A Poem Cycle. The last of these was privately printed as a posthumous memorial volume in 1975, a year after Susan Noble’s untimely death in 1974 at the age of 31. Tom Stodulka has loved to write for many years, though as a child he found this form of expression was a struggle. As the years progressed, through high school and law school, Stodulka gained an appreciation of language and how it could be used as a tool for making a difference. His confidence grew enough to write diaries of his life in the Navy and eventually in 1976, on board the HMAS Duchess, he wrote his first poem, The World and the Future, which features in his first publication, Storm Clouds and Silver Linings; My Journey.
