Historia
The human race has become an endangered species in the two weeks since the bomb fell in Seattle. Luckily for Digby, that’s not his problem. Skyline believes that he and his coven were burnt to cinders, so all he needs to do is lay low. Well, that was what he hoped would happen. Instead, Henwick’s plan to hijack the curse was successful, spreading a new kind of monster across the land.

That was tough
Revisado: 07-19-21
ok so spoiler alert!
main character is established as ruthless and trained.
has a history shrouded with he did what was necessary and dealt with death a lot both in the army and outside of it!
cool so far
character dies like a badass then gets told he is a godling and is told VERY clearly "hey the chosen tribe you get is tied to you so they are SUPER IMPORTANT"
main character is like yeah ok super important
gets telephoned to the tribe being attacked by an eagle bear
watches the tribe getting slaughtered and for some odd reason just stares and watch while the narrarator describes how tribesmen are dying
???????
the eaglebear encounter takes so long! I ran that on 1.5 speed and it felt like forever for the entire encounter only for the end to be oh the eaglebear fell with the main character and the main character is all good but the eaglebear got impaled so thanks for listening for the last hour and a half for this encounter.
I don't understand the main character putting out jokes while fighting cause it feels so out of character

Nearly 1/3 of the book is useless
Revisado: 01-18-19
(spoiler)!
Right after Joe falls asleep the story just goes down the drain for 10 chapter..
pretty much all revolving around spooky and some whiny drivel that could be summarized in one or two chapters.
Would consider reading the rest but after listening to either useless information or REALLY BORING character development
I can't stomach anymore. This one was a YIKES for me..
