Historia
One afternoon - after another failed attempt to get motivated to exercise - I (accidentally) started my first mini habit. I initially committed to do one push-up, and it turned into a full workout. I was shocked. This "stupid idea" wasn't supposed to work. I was shocked again when my success with this strategy continued for months (and to this day). I had to consider that maybe I wasn't the problem in those 10 years of mediocre results. Maybe it was my prior strategies that were ineffective, despite being oft-repeated as "the way to change" in countless books.

Extremely repetitive
Revisado: 05-25-17
Making your habits small makes the task of starting them easier and they're thereby more likely to stick. That's the book.
How he managed to drag that simple concept out to almost 4 hours is most likely due to his own stated habit of writing at least X words per day, resulting in him repeating himself for hours.
The narrator doing clowny voices increasingly throughout the book didn't help either.
Sorry for the harsh review, but this book could have been much better.

Nothing about goal based investing
Revisado: 05-04-17
This book is mostly about the authors way of classifying different investments into three buckets; safety, market and aspiring. I don't agree that it provides "an implementable framework to let you achieve your life's goals" as it's all about the buckets.

The ways you spend your time, your energy, and your purchasing dollars are investments just as much as any brokerage account is, and they deserve the same kind of attention. The Resilient Investor shows you how to expand the concept of investing beyond stocks and bonds, wake up from dangerous old investing patterns, open your eyes to new opportunities, and build a better world.

Horrible narration
Revisado: 12-20-16
Interesting topic, but the narration makes it hard to focus. The narrator emphasizes every other word and gets on your nerves really quickly. I was planning on using this book as a calm "don't worry, we'll get you through this" kind of story but ended up annoyed and returning the book instead. Would pick up again if a new narrator records this book.

More of a fable than anything else.
Revisado: 01-14-16
I'm not sure what I expected from this book, but I'm left a bit disappointed. The examples are so unlikely and clearly used to prove their points. This might just be an attempt at a new fairy tale for younger audiences, but any adults might have a harder time getting anything out of it.

Where does The Little Book of Behavioral Investing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's a very good and easy listening experience. There's no real epiphany here but sound logic provided with research to back it up, which makes it a great audiobook to listen to.

Must read
Revisado: 06-30-15
Rarely do you come across a book which isn't just an introduction, or stretches a single, simple tip across page after page, giving you the "yeah, yeah. I already got it" feeling.
This book was a pleasure to listen to, and, I assume, would be an even greater read. Missing the figures and tables make you stretch the imagination sometimes, but the book is so full of good insights that make you focus on learning how to invest rather than getting too hung up on individual stats. It is explained well enough anyways.
Great book!

Great book about becoming a good investor
Revisado: 06-20-15
If you could sum up The Education of a Value Investor in three words, what would they be?
Find your way
What did you like best about this story?
Guy Spier didn't provide a technical how-to on how to analyze stocks, but that can be found elsewhere. What he did was enlighten me regarding the mindset an investor should have. I really enjoyed that a lot.
Which character – as performed by Malk Williams – was your favorite?
Beautifully narrated by Malk Williams. Did a great job narrating from Guy's view, and also did a fun Warren Buffet impersonation.
What did you learn from The Education of a Value Investor that you would use in your daily life?
Find a way to invest that suits me. In anything from trading frequency and using a checklist to office furnituring.
Any additional comments?
Very happy to have listened to his book, thank you.
