Historia
When a yacht being used to smuggle drugs sinks, the six smugglers must seek refuge the only place they can - an abandoned oil rig in the middle of the sea. But there's something strange about this oil rig. For one thing, it looks more like a scientific research facility. And for another, there are no people - only piles of clothes with no bodies in them. It soon becomes clear that something is loose on the rig. Something deadly. It's stalking them, one by one, but it's not just a horrible death they have to fear - it's what comes after.

Completely Stupid

I was recommended this by a horror blogger. WTH!?!? All women do is fall over and lose their tops. The men are moronic and boring. Seriously this wasn’t even campy. I looooove creature features but this is a joke. Trust me.

Historia
When Christa joins a tour group heading deep into the snowy expanse of the Rocky Mountains, she's hopeful this will be her chance to put the ghosts of her past to rest. But when a bitterly cold snowstorm sweeps the region, the small group is forced to take shelter in an abandoned hunting cabin. Despite the uncomfortably claustrophobic quarters and rapidly dropping temperature, Christa believes they'll be safe as they wait out the storm.

Silly
Revisado: 07-25-23
After a point the plot of this book just gets goofy. It dragged on too long and the finale was over super fast. The narrator must’ve been given direction to read in a monotone. She seemed to have little reaction to the horrors she was reading on the page. Again, it was probably was her direction.
All in all a lukewarm experience overall.

Meh.
Revisado: 04-05-23
Overall a disappointing tale. I think the novel could have used twice the time and elaborated on many items as well as strung out the suspense. The heroine didn’t seem like a strong enough character to support all she has to go through. She falls back on side characters to do the heavy lifting. I found the character of Watson infinitely more interesting. There is definitely a setup for sequels considering the ending. Perhaps further books will add to this universe.

Disappointing last act

I was completely invested in this story. Then the final act just kinda fizzled. I hope there’s a sequel.
