Consulting careers are wonderful things. Getting to see the ins-and-outs of businesses, how they really tick. For a curious mind and driven soul it’s a privileged position to be in. So thinks Don as he leads a small team trying to deliver the erratic goals his client keeps setting them. Little does he realise how fast things are about to change as the fallout of decisions made way above his pay grade start to rain down.

Informative, relatable and fun!
Revisado: 03-04-25
Consulting is not perhaps the most naturally exciting subject for fiction yet Saadat manages a surprisingly engrossing and enjoyable read. With characters that are almost too relatable (the pangs of past anxiety from difficult managers for example) the takeaways are a solid reminder of principles and practices we can all benefit from in our careers, irrespective of our current seniority.
