Historia
Officer Red Markham knows about the ugly side of life after a car accident left him scarred and his parents dead. His job policing the streets of Carlisle, PA, only adds to the ugliness, and lately, drug overdoses have been on the rise. One afternoon, Red is dispatched to the local Y for a drowning accident involving a child. Arriving on site, he finds the boy rescued by lifeguard Terry Baumgartner. Of course, Red isn't surprised when gorgeous Terry won't give him and his ugly mug the time of day.

Great Read or Listen
Revisado: 05-10-19
True to form, Andrew Grey captures that special magic of and in some sense, the taboo of two men falling in love. However, I found this a special read because it follows a story of the destruction of the drug crisis currently facing our nation and paints our favorite Beau as a hero to his lover and his community while we see him come to grips with his own demons from the past. You won't regret purchasing this audiobook; just don't plan to stop listening easily

Historia
In July 2004, Barack Obama electrified the Democratic National Convention with an address that spoke to Americans across the political spectrum. Now, in The Audacity of Hope, Senator Obama calls for a different brand of politics: a politics for those weary of bitter partisanship and alienated by the "endless clash of armies" we see in Congress and on the campaign trail; a politics rooted in the faith, inclusiveness, and nobility of spirit at the heart of "our improbable experiment in democracy".

Inspirational!! A must read for everyone!
Revisado: 06-14-16
This is an excellent read. President Obama is a genuine and caring man who has changed the world. He writes candidly and with a heartfelt honesty about his childhood, finding himself, finding Michelle, raising his beautiful daughters, all while finding his way as an up and coming young Senator. This is Obama, long before the presidency, but just as much the honorable and gracious man who would become our 44th, and perhaps one of our greatest presidents. It is difficult to read this book and not admire a man who, from such humble beginnings, would reshape the face of American politics and the presidency all while remaining impeccably human. As you read, it becomes apparent that Mr. Obama's love for this country and for the greater good of humanity is surpassed only by his love of family.

Another wonderful read by Andrew Grey! Highly Recommended Author

I love how the books are written in series. In each installment you learn more about the existing characters from previous installments while "getting to know" the new ones. It's like coming together with old friends while meeting new ones along the way. If you're a hopeless romantic and love some intense passion, you will love Grey's books. Worth every penny I've spent because if you're like me, you'll find yourself wanting to read them over and over. Some narrators are better than others, but that really doesn't matter much as you become enthralled in the passion and drama within the plot.
