Horrifying yet interesting
Revisado: 11-20-16
What made the experience of listening to True Crime Stories: 12 Shocking True Crime Murder Cases the most enjoyable?
It kept my attention.
Which scene was your favorite?
The story "Murder of Little Anna Palmer" really drew me in.
If you could give True Crime Stories: 12 Shocking True Crime Murder Cases a new subtitle, what would it be?
Unbelievable but true stories of crime
Any additional comments?
I truly enjoyed True Crimes Stories Volume I and cannot wait for more! Mr. Rosewood take 12 horrifying crimes and gives the reader a short overview of the crime and subsequent investigation. Interestingly, many of the cases he presented in this volume were unsolved until many years later when DNA and other technology became more advanced. I was provided an audible copy of Mr. Rosewood’s book to review. This was a great way to enjoy his book.

Historia
The prostitutes working New York City's Times Square were more than a little bit nervous. A deranged serial killer who apparently melted into the crowd was picking up hookers and sadistically torturing them, leaving some girls wondering if there was a real-life Dr. Frankenstein out there attempting to create his own personal plaything from pieces of his dismembered victims.

Historia
When Chris Bryson was discovered nude and severely beaten stumbling down Charlotte Street in Kansas City in 1988, police had no idea they were about to discover the den of one of the most sadistic American serial killers in recent history. This is the true story of Robert Berdella, nicknamed by the media the Kansas City Butcher, who from between 1984 and 1988 brutally raped, tortured, and ultimately dismembered six young male prostitutes in his unassuming home on a quiet street in Kansas City.

Disturbing and fascinating
Revisado: 11-12-16
If you could sum up Robert Berdella: The True Story of The Kansas City Butcher in three words, what would they be?
Sick, Scary and Sadistic
What did you like best about this story?
Very well written; Easy to follow the "birth" of this killer as he strives, and ultimately succeeds in reaching his goal as a "collector".
Which scene was your favorite?
When is finally caught and confesses.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes.
Any additional comments?
Mr. Rosewood does it again. He tell the story of a sadistic individual's gruesome torture and murder of area prostitutes. His story is riveting and scary as Mr. Berdella was an unassuming individual who lived and worked within his community while committing these heinous crimes. Makes you look twice at your neighbor...
