You can think of this edition as the director’s cut of Long Way Home. Specifically, the director cut all of the images. This bold new direction redefines how the entire work is approached. For instance, the listener will not have any pictures to refer to, forcing them instead to imagine not just 99 percent of the story entirely in their head, but a full 100 percent. Publishers everywhere are taking notice: is a picture-free novel the future of the industry? Some say it's already here. But I say, with no hyperbole whatsoever, it started with Long Way Home.

Loved This Story

I loved this story (no spoilers), very well rounded and complete. Performance was excellent. They're are no long dragged parts to this story and the intimate scenes were very intense.

What Can I Say, I'm Hooked on this Universe

(No Spoilers) Between Gre7g Luterman and Rick Griffin, I love how this universe has developed and intertwined. I love Piers Ryman's voice for this series, soothing, enjoyable, and puts he puts the feels and fervor to the characters. This story has an amazing take on character development with an easy flow of the story that you can't help but to be captivated. Without a doubt, a worthy read or listen in any case.

A great story, well written and good narrative performance. I don't like to give spoilers to the stories in the reviews, but I can say that it kept me hooked through the whole narration without any lulls or dragged out parts.

The Captain's Oath put me on the edge and wanting more. What I like most about this series is the evolvement and development of the characters and storyline. It's a connection you can feel. In a lot of books I've read or listened to, author's have a tendency to drag out scenes and situations which Rick Griffin doesn't do at all. I'm hoping Piers Ryman narrates the third. I'm eagerly waiting for the third installment of the series :)

Traitors, Thieves and Liars is a very captivating story. Usually it's very difficult for me to get into stories about space, but this one was able to mesmerize me. The connections between the characters give a feel of genuine affinity among them. Piers Ryman's performance of Rick Griffin's book was impeccable. This book is genuinely worth reading or listening to and I can't wait to listen to second book in the series.
