Historia
When he was first torn from his Earthly home, Victor Sandoval was as good as dead, alone and powerless in a reality where kills equal skills and losing a fight means losing your life. But he's much more than who he used to be. Now a warrior of near-legendary status and strength, Victor is leading his very own army into the Untamed Marches, where countless hordes of horrors await. This means more Energy and treasure for him and his allies when they go up against a slew of undead, reavers, and good old-fashioned bloody vampires.

Perfect Book utterly ruined by ending and laziness
Revisado: 11-17-24
Here we go again another author taking an incredible book and ruining it by unexplained uncharacteristic character stupidity disguised in a plot vehicle designed to keep us hooked and buying the next book. I'm done with this bullshit

Historia
Miles “Shrug” Lindstrom received a quest years ago. He was the only person who could see the window, and in addition to the quest, he could also see a countdown to the end of the world. Part of him was hoping that he was just insane and had been hallucinating when he first started seeing the window. Then again, if the quest was just his imagination, he was going to be massively in debt with a rental full of useless junk. But when the countdown finally stops, what happens is nothing like he could have imagined.

Tired Tropes Lazy Writing and a Narrator With A Lisp
Revisado: 09-19-24
Hey guess what? A really dumb awkward flawed male MC meets a strong confident beautiful large perfect brave female who solves all the problems..we haven't see that before in litrpg...right? Then the author inexplicably stops writing about her...shrug
Throw in a narrator with a lisp. Like if there are too many S's in the copy it would sound like a snake is reading.
Staring to think that except for a few authors the bottom of the litrpg barrel is being scraped.

Annoying Frustrating Waste Of Time
Revisado: 08-07-24
This is a cartoon. From the writing to the action to the narration. If you are a child that is fine. I AM NOT A CHILD.
Incredibly dumb MC. Mean female characters. Annoying over the top narration. Predictability with a dash of "most annoying sound in the world".
If you are looking for sloppy, sophmoric, annoying hours of repetition then by all means waste your time and money.

Dumb Weak MC Lazy Writing
Revisado: 06-18-24
Hey prospective reader if a male writer purposely writing all females as flawless and perfect and all males as stupid and gullible and flawed and bumbling and hopeless then this book is for you. Furthermore, if you are drawn to dumb fumbling male MCs used by a lazy writer as a plot vehicle to fool readers into buying this book then again this books for you. I tried I really did. Ended up going into 3.5 speed and skipping whole sections. Just so I could see where the story went. The real crappy thing is that this is an incredible concept and an incredible story. Truly frustrating.

Historia
Extreme sub-zero temperatures suffocate the surface. Frozen structures of bygone eras span across massive ice-wastes. And the survivors closely guard any technology rediscovered within them. The only escape from the deadly climate is beneath the surface, but that doesn't mean it's safe... Monstrous machines lurk in the depths. Unhinged demigods war against them, dying over and over, treating it all like a game. The depths themselves shift over time, more contraption than rock.

Historia
In just seven days, the world will crumble. The System's Descent will usher in a new era of chaos: wild animals mutating, monstrous creatures emerging, and the cessation of modern technology. Humanity will be left defenseless. Drew Wright knows none of this. At least not until he is rudely ripped from his bed and thrust into a white room to undergo a taser-happy ‘Tutorial’. Turns out, he is one of a thousand randomly selected people to be forewarned of the approaching apocalypse. Now, he faces the delightful task of convincing his wife and mother of the devastation hurtling towards them.

Up until now, Montana's journey really only went one direction: up. But now he's back at square one, stuck on top of a mountain with only the most basic gear to help get him back to Coggeshall. It's going to be a long walk. But not a boring one.

This is getting really old
Revisado: 04-18-24
We get it for Christ's sakes he's dumb for crying out loud how can we be 6 books in and he hasn't processed at all. I am a second from throwing my phone across the room. You have a 1rst class narrator and an incredible canvas and characters and this lazy ass writer has us following a dumb ass around who he hasn't progressed at all. How many frickin times can we hear oops or I forgot or for f+#ks sake another set of stupid ass questions from an MC before this author has this MC retain just a little bit of info...
I feel duped and cheated I kept "reading" because human beings learn from their mistakes...normally anyways...and I was excited to see how he would grow. Guess I am the dumb one now.

Lazy Writing Infuriating MC
Revisado: 04-06-24
Look I get the writer has made the intelligence of the MC part of the story I don't like it but I get it. However, the stubborn refusal to incorporate any...and I mean any...character progression any growth and forward movement has been a huge issue. Five books in now I have seen him get stronger and smellier and hairier but the lazy ass writer continues to keep him dumb and doesn't allow for what any human would do (unless seriously mentally ill) and that is learn from our mistakes. it's lazy and disrespectful to me as a reader.

Historia
When the cultivators came to Earth, they destroyed our entire civilization in a matter of hours. Armies fell, cities burned, and that was before the moon turned red and filled our world with monsters. Now, over a decade later, what's left of humanity slaves under the heels of our Qi-infused masters. The luckiest of us might even become one of them, they say—if we serve the Dynasty well enough and harness the power of Qi. But I want none of that. I'm sick of serving, and I want nothing to do with their world. Instead, I want them to pay for what they did to mine.

Great Story Terrible Narration
Revisado: 02-06-24
This could have been amazing a true 5 stars but the truly abysmal narration ruined it. The narrator was trying like really hard and I think that was the problem. Some of the most annoying voices and accents I have ever heard. Had to listen to anywhere from 3 to 5 different characters in 2x speed or faster to get through it. Also have to fast forward through quite a few fight scenes due to the narrator growling and shouting and screaming through it. Still enjoyed it overall but hopes it gets better in book 2.
