By Far the Best Book on Prayer that I have Read!

Exceeded my expectations! Offered a deep and beautiful perspective on prayer that has helped revive my prayer life. From answering questions on why God doesn't answer prayers to examining the way that we pray and why different ways of praying can enrich our relationship with God and revolutionize our prayers and navigation through this world, I was impressed with the research and perspectives covered 8n the book. FULL of great insights and challenges!

BEST BOOK ON MARRIAGE THAT I HAVE EVER READ!!!

I absolutely loved this excellent book. As someone who has counseled individuals and couples for decades (and reads hundreds of books on marriage and emotional health each year) and whose own marriage has been through pretty much every challenge a marriage can face, I found this book invaluable and so wise. Well worth reading... especially if (like me) you have a spouse who doesn't consider themselves part of the problem and is apathetic about change that involves effort on their part. The principles and practical advice found in this book are wonderful and they work!

Excellent story of revenge told with delightfully sassy wit. Well worth listening to! The story is quick paced and interesting and the ending is awesome.

Trashy Romance Devoid of Mystery/Suspense

Really disappointed in this book. I have no idea why it is listed as a mystery or suspense book, given that it was mostly just a trashy romance novel with no real plot beyond the "romance" between main characters. If someone loves romance novels they may enjoy this but I got it because I expected an actual mystery/suspense as advertised and it was a waste of time, since I don't care about romance or mommy porn.

Little Girl Lost... in Awful Narration

The first book series (Little Girl Lost) was actually annoying to listen to. I may have been able to suspend disbelief enough to accept the unrealistic "psychic" communication between sisters, had the narration not been so awful. Throughout the narration, common words were badly mispronounced, as though the narrator were not at all familiar with English. Her voice was certainly not believable as an American, as she could not even pronounce common phrases and locations accurately. The improper and unnatural emphasis on different words throughout the dialogue kept the narration from flowing smoothly, as well. So, every time that I was starting to get into the story a little, there would be a jarring mispronunciation or weird emphasis on a random word in a sentence that made the narration almost excruciating to listen to. The narrator excelled at the French portions of the script and should definitely be hired for narration of French books. This was simply a bad fit and it kept me from enjoying a book that otherwise would have probably been decent, if not for the lack of realism.
