This is a scam: Do not get this "book."
Revisado: 04-19-24
Clearly what "French Hacking" did was take some out of print academic French grammar book and have someone read it verbatim. Indeed they are just what they say they are: "French Hackers". I'm sure that there is no beginner or intermediate student of French that could possibly get anything out of this. One of the clues should have been that there were no reviews and no ratings. Another clue should have been that the "sample" was not a sample at all. Yet another clue should have been that there was no author. Oh was the material incomprehensible so was the reader and the quality of the recording was awful.
C'est la vie. I hope no one else gets sucked in by this.

Historia
Most books about the history of humanity pursue either a historical or a biological approach, but Dr. Yuval Noah Harari breaks the mold with this highly original book. From examining the role evolving humans have played in the global ecosystem to charting the rise of empires, Sapiens integrates history and science to reconsider accepted narratives, connect past developments with contemporary concerns, and examine specific events within the context of larger ideas.

Historia
Spinoza's brilliant metaphysical system was derived neither from reality nor experience. Starting from basic assumptions, with a series of geometric proofs he built a universe which was also God, one and the same thing, the classic example of pantheism. Although his system seems an oddity today, Spinoza's conclusions are deeply in accord with modern thought, from science (the holistic ethics of today's ecologists) to politics (the idea that the state exists to protect the individual).

I wanted to learn about Spinoza but instead learned more than I wanted about Paul Strathern.
