Historia
In the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child—not powerful, like her father, nor viciously alluring like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power—the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves.

I loved the content for this book. I think candor in the workplace is vital to the success of the business and Kim gives some great tips on how to make that happen.

Great content. But slow paced.

Loved the content. Good tried-and-true practices. The narrator sounded like he was from NPR. I sped it up to 1.5 times just to keep interested.

Historia
After the sudden death of her husband, Sheryl Sandberg felt certain that she and her children would never feel pure joy again. "I was in 'the void,'" she writes, "a vast emptiness that fills your heart and lungs and restricts your ability to think or even breathe." Her friend Adam Grant, a psychologist at Wharton, told her there are concrete steps people can take to recover and rebound from life-shattering experiences. We are not born with a fixed amount of resilience. It is a muscle that everyone can build.

More of a book on working through grief.
Revisado: 01-15-18
Good book but not what I expected. I was expecting much more on business resilience. I appreciate the candor from Sheryl. I have been through grief like this many years ago. I was not expecting to relive the hurt with her but it was good. I agree with many parts of this book but it is not a book on professional resilience as much as it is on resilience through tragedy.

Historia
Shy, fragile Fanny Price is the consummate "poor relation". Sent to live with her wealthy uncle Thomas, she clashes with his spoiled, selfish daughters and falls in love with his son. Their lives are further complicated by the arrival of a pair of witty, sophisticated Londoners, whose flair for flirtation collides with the quiet, conservative country ways of Mansfield Park.

Great book
Revisado: 11-16-17
I loved this book and would have given it all 5 stars but it was ended very abruptly and the end of the story including very key elements were just quickly described in the last 6 minutes verses shown in the same detail as the rest of the book. I wanted the end of the story to be as descriptive and developed as the rest and it wasn't.

Excellent story! Loved the different people playing the characters.
I think the heavy breathing was a little overused and it was hard to understand the 2 convicts at times.
