So much fun! I want more!!!

This was a short read/listen, and when it was over I wasn't ready. I just wanted more. More of the characters, more of the world, more of everything.

Rowan Scott was so good with this narration an performance!

It's great to be back with this group and in this world. It is so much fun to listen to with a great world filled with fun a quirky characters. While not 100% necessary to read the original series, I recommend it since there might be a lot of background confusion otherwise. I can't wait for more books and audiobooks in this series and by this author.

Lance West performed this narration so well. The characters were truly brough to life.

I finished the audiobook for “Earth Boys Are Easy” the first book in the Villains in Spaces series by C. Rochelle and had to sit a minute and absorb how good the book was. The series is a spin-off of the fun, action packed and steamy, Villainous Things series and it isn’t entirely necessary to read those books before reading Ziggy and Micah’s space tale, but it would enhance the understanding of the world and characters, and is recommended.

Ziggy and Micah are my new favorite couple. From their banter, humor, caring, understanding, and trust a solid relationship was formed. Micah gets Ziggy and while Ziggy is sometimes a bit clueless at first, he learns and comes to understand Micah.

This is an audiobook I classify and “Headphones Needed.” It is steamy, and those scenes have a variety of themes and situations. They are so good and through them the story progresses. They aren’t there just for the sake of there being steam, this is actually a way that they are able to express what they want and need and is a safe space for emotions and feelings.

The narrators Gabriel Michael and Nick J. Russo both did excellent work for this book. There were times when their performances had me so engaged with the audiobook that I stopped doing what other things I was doing just to listen.

I highly recommend this book and the previous series.

"Siren in the Rain" is the newest release in the multi-author, Fortune Favors the Fae series by Chloe Archer. This book contnues to follow the journey of the very special coin as it brings another couple together. In this case the couple are abuse victim and half-Siren, Shea and Wolfkin Empath, Griffin. Because of circumstances this is a book with hurt/comfort, Found Family, and Grumpy/Sunshine themes. This book is the first in a new series set in the authors Monsters Hollow universe but can be read apart from that series with no problem. It's nice to get more of a glimpse of the world even though that world can be cruel and unjust. There are some darker themes in this book, but they are handled with a softer touch, so that the lightness of the characters can shine through and the focus can be on the budding romance.

This is an adorable romance between fated mates. It is slow burn as characters need to heal and recover from horrible circumstances. I love all the characters but Griffin fills that place I love for cinnamon roll/golden retriever characters. He is simply adorable and he and Shea fit well together and deserve their HEA. I can't wait to see how this series progresses and read more of the Fortune Favors the Fae books.

This was a highly enjoyable listen. Joel Leslie did a great job with bringing the characters to life. This might be one of my favorite narrations from him. I highly recommend reading any format of this book.

“Crash-Landed in Love” by Piper Scott and Renee Fox is a highly entertaining and spicy read. Al is such a sweet, clueless and loveable alien and Jude is just a regular human trying to make it in this world. The storyline is fun and it is funny but at the same time there is some realness. Jude and Al are just regular guys within their own worlds. They each have had struggles. These things bring a bit of a Hurt/Comfort feel to the book and there are parts with this that temper the humor, but enhance the characters. I really like Jude since I can relate to some of his struggles, but, Al… Al is everything that is good and he deserves the best. Their HEA is well done and I hope to see them again as the series progresses.

Michael Ferraiuolo narrated this audiobook. I felt the characters and the world were enhanced by his performance. The production quality was good and pacing was just right.

- I will add a little note about an aspect of audiobooks I know some people have struggles with. There are some words in the alien language that are given a different tone or reverberation. It can be uncomfortable to listen to and I had to take breaks during the parts where this was used the most. But aside from that… it was great!

I highly enjoyed this audiobook. The characters, plot, and setting were a lot of fun. There is plenty of action and mystery with humor, heart and heat.

Rufus and Mark are adorable and they each have some issues with confidence and their place in the world. It is a bit of a slow burn but once things start they heat up pretty quick. With the steamy parts I am surprised with a bit of a stereotype flip. I don't want to five too much away, but there is a tendency for certain character types to have certain roles and certain histories when it involves steamy things. It seems to be a bit of a trend in a lot of books I've read and I am happy that that does NOT happen in this book. It was refreshing to read.

The narration by Rufus Love was well done. His voice was easy to listen to and he brought the book and the characters to life.

The Author T. Kingfisher has been recommended to me for many years. The books have always looked good, but I just never was in the mood to read or listen to them. I finished the audiobook of “Paladin’s Grace” narrated by Joel Richards today and I enjoyed the listen.

Shortly after starting the listen I pulled up my eBook copy on my Kindle app so I could highlight parts that made me laugh. There were so many and they were so good and I was so entertained I was making recommendations to friends with in 50 pages.

The world building is a lot of fun. It’s enough that the story makes sense but at the same time it feels like there is so much more to learn and explore, especially with some of the mystery from this book left to solve. I look forward to reading the other books because I NEED to know some things and I NEED other characters to find their HEAs.

As for the audiobook. It was good. The production quality was good and Joel Richards has a great voice to listen to.

This audiobook was good. The paranormal ghostly aspect added a fun twist and made this YA story go from ok to good. It is worth a read or a listen as it is an enjoyable listen.

The narrator Michael Ferraiuolo, Does a good job with all the characters in the book and adding the right feels to everything that goes on.

I just finished listening to the audiobook for “The Magpie Lord.” For me it was ok. I liked the basic concept of the world with the magic system, there was some humor and the parts with “action” had my attention. I almost DNF’d this book at about 35% but decided to continue on and did end up finishing it.

I wasn’t impressed with either character and found the secondary characters more compelling. The book felt a little disjointed with sudden behavior and mood shifts plus events happening out of nowhere. There also didn't seem to be much chemistry between the couple. No real feeling involved besides the physical which also felt off. Maybe it’s just me.

The narration was also just ok.

"The Witch’s Grumpy Dragon" by Michele Notaro is a great addition to the wider Brinnswick/Ellwood world created by the author. Tan and Garrick are great for each other and make for a fun and interesting romance, that requires understanding and healing.

The world this book is set in is a favorite of mine to revisit and I love that more of the world is being explored. This is the first in a new series and can stand on its own, but I recommend reading the previous books set in the world, especially "The Wolf's (Un)Lucky Fae" as it's a prequel and helps set up this book. There are also some characters from other books that make appearances and knowing who they are adds to the fun.

I have now read the eBook and listened to the audiobook narrated by Michael Lesley. Wow! Just Wow! I love how audiobooks can add so much to books but this was a big difference. I highly enjoyed my eBook read of this book but this audio had me in tears at parts. The added emotion the added tensions and just everything, was amazing. This audiobook solidifies why Michael Lesley is a favorite narrator and will probably always be one.

I received a copy of this book and audiobook and this is my honest opinion.
