Nice little tidbit. Kinda pricey for what you get.. Between this, the halfhearted way they wrapped up the series, and how the last 3 books felt like 1 book they chopped up to get more credits.. it's an unfortunate way to conclude an enjoyable story.

didn't make it past chapter 6.. Once the MC started raping the wildlife, I called it quits!

aren't prequels supposed to give more back ground information? this book made Wayward Galaxy make even less sense!
impressive that you start the book knowing the mission has to fail, but he still manages to get you to care..

As long as there's another instalment coming, then everything was great..
If not, possibly the worse ending in the history of literature!
I believe this piece originated on one of the web services and was written as chapter instalments. which probably effects the flow when it's shoved into a single book.
This version of "time travel" is my favorite, and the timeline matching up with my own childhood made it incredibly relatable.

Quantity vs Quality

6 books for 1 credit is an awesome deal.
I often enjoy the Villain's perspective, and was looking forward to seeing things from the Dungeons point of view. Apparently that doesn't hold for the smuttier content. I cleared book 3 and the Subjugation/Rape Culture is just way too Cringe..
I pulled the rating up from the negative stars because the dungeon mechanics and world building are quite good.
I have to take a break. Rooting for the Furry Rohypnol is too much.

Why

So in a book that is completely dependent on previous books from the series, why try and make changes to cannon? Especially ones that have no significant impact on the story..
Need to fudge some ages, because the series runs for over 50 years? Sure.
Why do his kids suddenly need to be twins? It's well established they aren't, and the change adds absolutely nothing to your current book. So what's the point?!
Author's Purgative should be limited when contributing to a Legacy Series..

5 Chapters in and I'm ready for the whole party to die.
Good job lasting this long in the series, but the build up of arrogance, entitlement, and bullying has reached critical mass.
