Historia
You walk into a restaurant and get an immediate sense that you should leave. You are about to step onto an elevator with a stranger, and something stops you. You interview a potential new employee who has the résumé to do the job, but something tells you not to offer the position. These scenarios all represent "left of bang", the moments before something bad happens.

Historia
When it comes to the gun control debate, there are two kinds of data: data that's accurate and data that left-wing billionaires, politicians, and media want you to believe is accurate. In The War on Guns, economist and gun rights advocate John Lott turns a skeptical eye to well-funded antigun studies and stories that perpetuate false statistics to frighten Americans into giving up their guns.

Fantastic information

As someone who has up until recently never owned guns before, this book was recommended to me to get an understanding of what is going on with the political climate in our country in regards to our rights.
It is eye opening to say the least. This book was very well researched and backed up by legitimate statistics from studies done by government entities as well as universities and it just goes to show that you must know where data comes from and how it is used, a lot of the gun control lobby groups cherry pick data and use it out of context to try and get their point across. This book will tell you how the data is used, and why it is important, and is very factual. Highly recommended by those who are both in-the-know and those who have feelings against guns. It is truly an important topic for those of us who live in the United States with today's political climate.
