Historia
Charlie Hudson, an autistic 17-year-old, is determined to leave Sawyer, PA, as soon as she graduates high school - in the meantime, she works as many hours as she can at a sandwich shop called The Triple S to save money for college. But when shop owner Clay Cooper - a man who is both respected and feared by many in this economically depressed community - is found dead, each member of his staff becomes a suspect in the perplexing case. Charlie must work to protect herself and her friends, and uncover the danger that may still be at large in their tightknit community.

Great book with interesting perspective!
Revisado: 01-22-22
I really enjoyed this book like I haven’t enjoyed a book in a while. It was both sweet and suspenseful. Particularly loved that the book was written in the first person and the main character was on the spectrum. It gave the book a unique perspective. Will look for more books by Wendy Walker!

Needed a good editor.
Revisado: 03-27-18
I really enjoyed this story and the twists and turns, but a great idea could have been an excellent book with better editing. Too much repetition of words (diazepam) and phrases (smile didn’t reach her eyes). It was very creative, though, and I’ll look for more from this author.
