I did not prefer the narrator. The storyline wasn’t tied tight at the end. I only finished the book to find out what happened. Nothing more.

As they move from a cramped, ant-infested shack to a larger house and try to adjust to a new way of life, allegiances realign; marriages are arranged and begin to falter; and conflict brews ominously in the background. Things become "ghachar ghochar" - a nonsense phrase uttered by one of the characters that comes to mean something tangled beyond repair, a knot that can't be untied.

Jinger’s voice is so calming. She should narrate more! I enjoyed the book. My own journey was different but I too was infected by the same poison. Don’t throw Jesus out with the crap you were taught to believe more them Him. That is the theme of this book.

This is half of a book

I am so disappointed. I could not wait to start on this long awaited book. But it wasn't a full book. It was half of a book. Well written, Harry was Harry, and the story line was awesome as usual but it ended right where other Dresden Files books start to get good. I thought I was being punked when the end credit began to play. I won't be jumping the gun to get another Dresden Files book even if it takes another half decade after the September 2020 book is released.
