Really enjoyed this second installment.
To answer the the question asked in the round table discussion at the end of the story.

Arnold is the top 80/90s action star, but I also think you can’t take away from the contribution Bill Paxton made to some of the great action movies of the time period.

I am a big fan of Nicholas Sansbury Smith’s work. I think this is a great start to a new series tha I look forward to continue. One thing I can always say about NSS work is that he really knows how to develop characters. I can’t wait to see where he takes the E-day saga. One thing I think we need more of is Radar the droid. We only got a small taste of how awesome that character could be!

RC Bray did another great job on this as well.

I truly think Rhett C. Bruno is one of the greatest contemporary Science Fiction authors. His stories are always interesting and well thought out. All of his books are good science fiction which causes one to have to step back and examine their own experiences and how they may relate to the story, world, and universe at hand. Vicarious is no exception and really is just another in an ever growing list of exciting and thought provoking stories crafted by Bruno.

Narration was excellent on this story as well. The male character suited Wil Wheaton's style and Kathrine McNamara was outstanding.

I really enjoyed this book. However, I will admit with the time lag between the release of Spacers Part I and Part II it took me a bit to recollect who was who and what was going on. Therefore I offer a suggestion to anyone starting this book, go back to Spacers Part I and listen to the last few minutes when Mark Boyett reads the Glossary that quickly explains the major players and current events to help get you up to speed prior to starting this one.

This is my first Rick Partlow series and it is really good. For me, a good measure for how a writer develops characters is realized when one is killed off. As weird as it may sound I find if I am genuinely upset or pissed off at the loss of a fictional individual, even secondary characters, I know the author has truly hooked me. Partlow does a great job in this and the previous two books to build a believable universe and dynamic characters. I am interested to see where he takes the series.

Scott Aiello is a better than average narrator and does a good job with the series. I think sometime his accents or chose of voices can be a bit cartoon like, but he understands the pacing and knows how to bring the authors story to life. I really wish he would have chosen a different voice/accent for Julie Nieves though, the accent he uses for her is a bit silly considering she is supposed to be super BA. Although, this a minor complaint and it does not distract from the overall story.

Wow, this was one of the best new releases in the genre this year. I honestly was unsure going into it and thought we were just going to get something that was Galaxy Edge adjacent. Boy was I wrong this story was fresh, exciting, and had some really funny parts that made me seriously laugh out loud or left me smiling while sitting by myself in traffic. Love the story, love the universe, and want more! Roger citizen!

Oh yeah RC Bray did another bang up job!

I cannot say enough how pleased I am to get more stories in this series. There are so many great new science fiction series coming out these day which I love but the Ixan/Vin Husher universe creates by Scott Bartlett is my absolute favorite and Mark Boyette is a master at bringing the characters to life. This is another great book from the duo. I have to also note that Joshua James has done a splendid job coauthoring this Fleet Ops series with Scott and I plan on finding more stories written by him.

For those that have been listening to the the exforce books since the beginning this is the most satisfying book yet. I really like the universe Craig Alanson is building and this book really moves the overall story forward by leaps and bounds. As with other books in the series sometimes there are discrepancies in the pacing. There are some instances/ problems that need solving that appear to move very slow and other instances where things that should take awhile or need more explaining are left to a few short paragraphs. It is often done as to not reveal a big surprise and considering the direction this book takes the overall story it is easy to let it go and just enjoy the ride. RC Bray is great as always.

This is one of the most beautifully written books in this genre I have heard/read in years. The twists are interesting and I enjoyed just about every aspect of the story. The only thing I was not a fan of, interestingly was the epilogue. I felt it was not necessary and ended up bluntly hammering home all of the subtly messages that had so wonderfully been crafted through the main story. However in all this was a great book.

Bruno has out done himself again. The Titan series as a whole is a wonderful story that is a must for any fan of modern sci-fi. As always the story is brought to full life by RC Bray.
