Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Very enjoyable, great story once action starts
Revisado: 02-17-20
As this is the 1st of 9 books, the books takes awhile to get interesting, but once Skippy is introduced, the real story gets going. Not going to spoil this review by explaining who Skippy is, trust me he's worth waiting for. :)

Historia
They hunt us. They bomb our worlds for target practice. A star cluster in the constellation of Orion rotates once every 1,000 years. Those who rule there have an ancient tradition: When each cycle ends, they train their fleets by spilling the blood of lesser beings. The enemy fleets are coming again. In response, the Rebel Worlds gather their starships to face the terrifying threat, and this time humanity is asked to stand with them. The last time they considered Earth, Vikings in longboats were raiding English coastlines. Today, we're less primitive. Today, we're a target.

interesting beginning to the story that seems confusing but is well explained later on. I liked the portrayal of aliens, there was a good balance of action, adventure and story

Historia
What happens when the President of the United States governs one Tweet at a time? When the elected leader of the free world may not have a firm grasp on the names of government agencies, much less an understanding of their intricate inner-workings? In the days following the 2016 inauguration, government personnel searched for answers that didn’t exist, while White House staff scoured halls for employees who would never be appointed.

Historia
This audiobook could best be described as a lab manual with simple experiments that prove reality is malleable, consciousness trumps matter, and you shape your life with your mind. Yes, you read that right. It says prove. The nine experiments, each of which can be conducted with absolutely no money and very little time expenditure, demonstrate that spiritual principles are as dependable as gravity, as consistent as Newton's laws of motion.

Please have this professionally narrated
Revisado: 09-16-18
Content in book good, but please please have this audio book professionally narrated. The narration by the author is like she's just reading words as quickly as she can to save recording space. It's difficult to understand a good portion of the concepts because there is no timing to accentuate important sections. I found myself having to replay sections in order to understand a concept. Not enjoyable.

Mostly about eBay. Was looking for more on Amazon
Revisado: 09-16-15
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
If you want to learn about just eBay, this book is pretty good. But I really wanted to learn more about Amazon. The main tips for Amazon was how to upload your eBay store to Amazon (no help to me) and he listed several other books to learn about Amazon. Really?
What could Nick Vulich have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Do not promote this book for Amazon. Listing other books for Amazon is not meeting the basic premise of your title. Not happy.
What about Chuck McKibben’s performance did you like?
Very good narration, clear and easy to listen too.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Upset that I listened to a bunch of information about eBay only to be let down with the lack of Amazon content.

Grain brain is an absolute must. It contains the latest research on how our diet effects our mental health.
What other book might you compare Grain Brain to and why?
I would highly recommend reading this book along with wheat belly and the great cholesterol myth.
