This story tugged at heart. Thaddeus was a a man that took others pain and healed them. Mean while falling in love with his housekeeper Belle. She discovers his secrets and she loves him despite his scars. He doesn’t think he can ever have Belle. But they work things out.
I was hooked from the beginning. Not only because it kept my attention, it was well written and a clean romance. Also a very good author. Good job!

Likes the story

I was drawn to this book because it was interesting to see how Jack being wealthy caught Jesse when she was an average single mom trying to take care of her son. She was living from pay check to pay check and couldn't get a break. She was not interested in Jack and I loved how Jack was trying to trying to introduce her to wealthy men to date. It was funny. I liked the characters and the story line.
I didn't like the bedroom details for that made it more adult rated. I don't think we need the play by play of that sort of stuff.
But other than that I liked how Jack, Jesse, and Danny make things work.

This book was great. I thought Penny and he mistakes were funny. They way she meets Harrison is great. I liked the way Penny and Harrison worked their marriage out. The step Mom sure was mean and hard on them. But the families learned to deal with each other.
This is a clean and very appropriate for everyone. I have enjoyed this writers books and hope you will read more of her work.
