Historia
Swahili Phase 1, Units 6-10 build on material taught in prior units. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Each lesson contains practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Swahili.

Not Proper Swahili
Revisado: 02-04-24
That Swahili taught on this program is Kenyon Swahili, which is not the same as traditional grammatically, correct Swahili, which originated on Zanzibar. I do not recommend this for anyone. And Pimsleur should throw it out and redo the entire thing. Many things in this course are incorrect.

Historia
A deeply personal work about identity and belonging in a nation coming apart at the seams, Homeland Elegies blends fact and fiction to tell an epic story of longing and dispossession in the world that 9/11 made. Part family drama, part social essay, part picaresque novel, at its heart it is the story of a father, a son, and the country they both call home.

A MUST LISTEN!
Revisado: 10-07-20
I loved this book! I rarely listen to books as I prefer paper. But when I read the article in the New Yorker about the author and this reading, I decided to give it a try. This was an eye-opening journey through contemporary America told through the eyes of a Muslim American man, an experience of course very few of us have had. I felt privileged to see the world so intricately through the protagonist’s eyes. A life changer! Thank you Mr. Akhtar for writing this book.
