Historia
At turns nonchalantly hip and charmingly deranged, Suzuki's singular slant on speculative fiction would be echoed in countless later works, from Margaret Atwood and Harumi Murakami, to Black Mirror and Ex Machina. In these darkly playful and punky stories, the fantastical elements are always earthed by the universal pettiness of strife between the sexes, and the gritty reality of life on the lower rungs, whatever planet that ladder might be on.

Revisado: 12-01-20
The narrator sounds like a child and it is seriously creepy. I cannot get over the feeling of a child talking as an adult about sex and violence. I honestly had to force myself to listen until the end because the story was somehow engaging enough.

Her senses grow sharper, her thinking clearer, and for the first time in her life she feels herself fully in control. By the age of 16, she's competing for the US Open championship. great story, not so great performance
Revisado: 11-26-20
The first chapter was by far the worst, the breathy and monotone voice are tiering and hard to sit through, however, it improves slightly each chapter. I still recommend it, but I would chose a different version.

Historia
One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennet, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.
